How to tell if your PM has been read

I know most people probably already know this, but I just thought it was a cool feature. I noticed that my sent messages stay in my outbox and allow me to edit them up until the other person has received and read the message. After they open it, it goes from the outbox to the sent mail folder. This is very useful since this way you don't have to wonder if someone has received or read your message, you can just check. I just thought I'd post for those that may not have know about it
